Miami's beer revolution is marching on, as another craft booze event is coming to town this fall. The Liquid Projects, the Miami Beach company that brought Beers, Bites and Babes to The Federal, plans to bring Craft: Spirits and Beer, A Tasting Event to Miami in October.

The tasting event will be hosted at Soho Studios in Wynwood from October 11-13.

It's too early to get exact details of the event, but the event will bring together both makers and imbibers of fancy drinks.

According to its website, Craft: Spirits and Beer is "a curated, annual tasting event bringing together top producers of authentic craft spirits & craft beers with both the beverage trade and the general consumer."

Jennifer Massolo, founder of the Liquid Projects, said that the program is not fully developed, so she couldn't expand much beyond that basic description of what the event will entail. However, Craft is a sure thing, she says, and the venue is concrete.

Massolo is currently in the building stages, lining up sponsors and exhibitors. Local exhibitors and manufacturers will feature heavily, Massolo says. The three-day event will feature a tasting gallery with onsite seminars, pairing dinners and cocktail events.
