Short Order was invited in to get a taste of their chicken and waffles and other offerings.

Your brunch bottomless options are as follows: mimosas, bellinis, and sangria for a two-hour limit. The sangria is good, but may we suggest foregoing the bottomless and going the bloody mary route instead. Batch's chipotle rendition with house-made spicy bloody mix is bloody good. And at $8 a pop not so bad for your wallet either.

We really wanted to try one of the newest additions, the Batch hash 'n' egg, where pork belly and short rib are served with potato, red onion, and a sunny side up egg, but they were out by the time we got there. Our server also didn't approach our table until after 25 minutes of sitting down. Otherwise, we might have been able to snatch the last one. Instead, we went with the cornbread benedict ($15), which lacks the traditional English muffin. To make up for it, crispy pork belly and ranch hollandaise are welcome additions to the classic brunch dish.

Cerdo tacos have crispy pork belly, sweet soy, pickled veggies, cilantro, and sriracha crema. You can have them in infinite quantities for Taco Tuesdays at the set price of $15.

Batch's chicken & waffles ($16) couple a Belgium waffle with country fried honey chicken, maple butter, and powdered sugar. If we had one criticism it would be that they be served immediately after being made. Their lukewarm temperature gave us the impression our server let them sit under a heat lamp for too long.
