Update: Panther Coffee co-owner Leticia Pollock said the Sunset Harbour shop received its certificate of occupancy from Miami-Dade County Thursday morning. They'll be soft opening on Monday May 13 at 7 a.m.

Construction atPanther Coffee's long-awaited Sunset Harbour store at 1875 Purdy Ave. on Miami Beach has wrapped and the the shop is days away from opening.

Belle Isle Blog posted a picture of employees inside the Sunset Harbour space over the weekend.

There's a chance the Pollocks might bless the beach with free coffee before opening, as they did in the Wynwood location, "but rent is expensive and we'd like to be selling coffee if we can."

On Thursday morning Pollock said they're "still not sure" if they'll be giving away free coffee to celebrate the opening.

The coffee menu will be the same as in Wynwood. The Pollocks seem to spend most of their time jetting on planes, looking for coffee from small growers from across Central and South America. "We have some new delicious Nicaraguan coffee coming in from Jinotega," she said.

Along with coffee the Sunset Harbour location will also be selling all of the brewing equipment they use. There will also be a slightly expanded menu with sandwiches from Zak the Baker and pastries from Lee and Marie's on South Pointe Drive.

As the store gets up and running, the Pollocks will also be pursuing a liquor license to sell beer and wine, which is recently obtained for the Wynwood store.

And just like the Wynwood spot their new store will offer cupping, a professional coffee tasting, every day at 3 p.m.
