Bored with the same old brunch? Tired of eating lemon ricotta pancakes while sipping mimosas? Think the whole breakfast/lunch combo thingy is just a little too twee?

In other words: Ever wish there was a brunch with balls?

Then check out Naked Taco's weekend brunch, launching this Saturday, November 1 (coincidentally, the Day of the Dead).

Instead of glasses of chilled sparkling rosé and baskets of tiny danishes, you'll find tequila and spicy jalapeño bread -- because sometimes you need a little hair of the dog and a lot of hot sauce to kick-start your heart after a long night of partying.

Chef Ralph Pagano says he's "superexcited" about his "Mexican-fueled" brunch, which has made him a wee nostalgic. "I can remember my early days at the Caliente Cab Company on Seventh Avenue South, sucking down margaritas and huevos rancheros on a Sunday morning." If you're a New Yorker, you'll recall Caliente Cab Company as the megarestaurant with the giant (albeit fake) margarita above the door, as if inviting all of Manhattan in for a few rounds.

It is in that spirit (the spirit being tequila), that Pagano offers bottomless tequila sunrises at Naked Taco's brunch. Of course, there are also unlimited bloody marias (with tequila, of course), frozen margaritas, and sangria (all $19 for bottomless servings). Be sure to ask your server for a shot, served in an awesome skull glass -- because everything tastes better in a skull.

Then there's the food (because you need to feed a hangover). Mexican-inspired offerings include lobster enchiladas ($17); a chorizo, spinach, and Chihuahua cheese burrito ($14); huevos rancheros ($14); huevos benedicto -- poached eggs topped with hollandaise, pickled jalapeños, and pico de gallo ($14); and huevos divorcidos -- fried eggs with green chilies and fried eggs with red chilies "divorced" from each other by a wall of rice and beans. If you're into something sweet, just say "Viva la Revolución" and you'll be served French toast with cinnamon sugar, dulce de leche, and bananas Foster sauce ($14).

To add fire to the fuel (or life to the party), a DJ will spin the best pop, funk, and soul tunes while you munch on a bread basket filled with jalapeño cheesy bread, sweet corn muffins, and cinnamon buns served with sweet bacon butter (complimentary with all egg dishes).

Naked Taco's brunch is served Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
