The New Times' fourth annual Iron Fork is set to invade Ice Palace Film Studios on October 20th. If you're familiar with Iron Fork, you know about the awesome chef competition in which the reigning champion, Carlos Torres of De Rodriguez Restaurant Group fights to the death with challenger Timon Balloo of Sugarcane Raw Bar Grill for the coveted Iron Fork title. OK, maybe not to the death, but you get the idea.
Then there's the amazing Fighting Food Truck Taco Tangle, which pits Jefe's Original Fish Taco and Burger against B.C. Tacos in a battle for the ages.
But, are you aware of our personal challenge to you, dear reader? This
challenge is not for just everyone. It's directed at the pure of heart,
mind, and stomach. We challenge you to eat your way through all of the
amazing restaurants scheduled to appear at Iron Fork. Should you
complete your quest, you'll be rewarded with the satisfaction of knowing
you, friend, are an eating machine!
We've confirmed more than 50 restaurants and food trucks.
(That's right -- food trucks, suckah!) Combined with an open bar and
live entertainment, this is one evening that south Florida foodies will
not want to miss! So, unless you're scheduled for a brain transplant,
mark your calendars (and your stomachs) for October 20.
Tickets
