Sonic Beach opens its Miami Gardens location on Wednesday, September 4. This is the third South Florida Sonic Beach, with other locations in Homestead and Fort Lauderdale.

The restaurant aims to bring an old-fashioned beachside burger shack to Miami Gardens -- complete with servers on roller skates. Sonic Beach will feature a professionally landscaped patio, 10 60-inch LED flat screen TVs, and a sandy beach area with beach umbrellas.

Sonic Beach is also located just a stone's throw from Sun Life Stadium, making it a great place to grab a milkshake or a beer before or after a game.

Sonic Beach expands on the classic Sonic Drive-In menu and features cheeseburgers ($3.79); Philly cheesesteaks ($5.49); and premium hot dogs ($2.19). In addtion, Sonic Beach offers bargain-priced wine and craft beer like Monk in the Trunk draft ($4); Golden Monkey draft ($4); and PBR's are $1.50 all day, every day!

Wednesday is the soft opening, but the restaurant will be fully operational. A blowout grand opening celebration, featuring music, food, and giveaways is planned for October. Stay tuned for details.
