New York restaurateurs chef Andrew Carmellini, Josh Pickard and Luke Ostrom are bringing SoHo's The Dutch to the W South Beach Hotel and Residences.

The trio is partnering with Karim Masri and Nicola Siervo, who own and operate The Wall, Wet and W Living Room Bar.

Chef Andrew Carmellini first came onto the scene as chef de cuisine at Cafe Boulud. He's earned two James Beard Foundation awards and is coming out with a new cookbook in October.

New York's The Dutch opened in April, 2011 to a pretty rave review by The New York Times
( although it garnered two stars). According to the website, the name means "Nothing really. It's just an American joint that serves nice food, wine and spirits".

Chef Carmellini says he'll add some local Miami dishes to The Dutch's menu, which features American cuisine, like sour orange pie, grouper sandwiches, and local shrimp. The restaurant will also house an oyster bar.

The restaurant, which replaces Solea, is scheduled to open in time for Art Basel and will feature an "airy, indoor-outdoor" feel.
