South Florida's homegrown the Cheese Course chain is growing. The cheese and sammy shop just opened their newest outpost in downtown Miami, so cube-dwellers and starving artists can choose from 150 artisanal cheeses when a craving strikes.
The new locale joins locations in Pinecrest, Aventura, Midtown, and Weston. The dairy-focused eatery has expanded a lot in recent years, thanks to the popularity of their expertly-chosen cheeses and fresh cafe eats.

The cheesy new digs are in the Southeast Financial Center building at 200 South Biscayne Boulevard. The 1,500 square foot spot has both indoor and outdoor seating, perfect for winter lunch dates.
"I believe downtown Miami is a great location for the Cheese Course concept due to the huge potential of customers within the Southeast Financial Center building and its surroundings, said Miguel Alvarez, general manager of the new location. "Also, there is nothing similar to The Cheese Course in this particular area, so we plan on introducing the aspects that make the restaurant unique to our customers at this location."
The cheese shop/deli/cafe has hand-crafted cheeses from all over the world, plus wines, fresh sammies, and salads. And their staff is trained to help you choose the perfect cheese.
The menu will stay the same as the other spots so take note of their Cheese Steward tasting plate, Italian caprese sandwich, and roasted beet salad. Yum!
