We first told you about Miami-Dade Commissioner Sally Heyman's Coffee Brake coffee truck in June. Well, yesterday we ran into the commish outside the Kelley Roy Gallery (50 NE 29th St., Miami), where she was parked and open for business, selling coffee, smoothies, and baked goods.

Sally said, "Everything's great. I've just been rolling around. I'll be here at Kelley Roy Gallery for Art Basel, I'll be at LandShark Stadium for the Super Bowl, I'm at Nautilus Middle School once a month for a PTA bake sale. Soon I'll be selling baked goods by Chef Ness. She's a small businesswoman who works kosher, which is good for my following."

The husband and wife owners of Kelley Roy Gallery have happily accommodated the Coffee Brake truck with electricity and a parking spot on prime real estate. They said, "I've known Sally for a while. I think it's great what she's doing. You know it's not so easy to get a cup of coffee on a street corner in Miami."
