You're invited to Eat With the Heat tomorrow, August 11, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., as part of a monthly lunchtime roundup that was just announced. This is the first of a series of monthly roundups that will be hosted by the American Airlines Arena the second Thursday of each month.

Eat With the Heat will feature more than a dozen food trucks, as well as various surprise giveaways and entertainment.


Heat "goodies and giveaways" will be distributed, and select fans will

win free tickets to upcoming American Airlines Arena events (which

probably means free tickets to Disney on Ice instead of Heat Games).


Free parking is provided in the P2 garage. Trucks serving from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. include CheeseMe, Daddy's Grill, Dolci Pecatti Gelato, the Fish Box, the Flying Saucer, gastroPod, Grill Master Café, Jefe's Original Fish Taco, Latin Burger, Latin House Grill, the MexZican Gourmet, Miso Hungry, Mr. Good Stuff, Ms. Cheezious, Purple People Eatery, the Rolling Stove, Slow Food Truck, and Sugar Rush.

A few small food truck roundups will be scattered around greater Miami this evening:

Food trucks at Pep Boys in Westchester from 5 to 10:30 p.m. Trucks include Clarabelle's Cupcakes, Havana Rice, Monster Burger, Perros Express, Purple People Eatery, Sir Pizza Mobile, and Yellow Submarine. Pep Boys,1060 Bird Rd., Miami

Boys & Girls Clubs of Kendall
will host food trucks from 5 to 10 p.m. Trucks include Che Grill,CheeseMe, Dolci Peccati Gelato, the Fish Box, the Flying Saucer, Jefe's Original Fish Taco, Latin Burger, Mr. Good Stuff, Ms.Cheezious, the Red Koi, and Sugar Rush. Boys & Girls Clubs, 9475 Kendall Dr., Miami
