If you were one of the many at Broken Shaker's Bloody Mary competition yesterday, then we feel your pain this Monday. We hope you didn't say anything about no drinking till the weekend, because this week starts with bourbon and ends with beer. From a bourbon pairing dinner at Meat Market tomorrow night to $1 Chang beers at Sriracha House on Thursday, this week is a fluid one.
Don't worry, there's plenty of food to be had too.

No Kid Hungry at BLT Prime
BLT Prime at the Trump National Doral has joined forces with Share Our Strength's No Kid Hungry Campaign to end childhood hunger through dining out. The campaign, dubbed Dine Out For No Kid Hungry, invites patrons to order a unique appetizer anytime (lunch or dinner) from today through Saturday. Simply ask for a grilled Portuguese octopus with fennel, yuzu, and pickled shallots. When you get the bill, remember that 50% of the $18 dish is benefiting hungry children.
Tuesday
In honor of national bourbon month, Meat Market is hosting a pairing dinner with -- you guessed it -- bourbon. Sean Brasel has cooked up four courses to pair with specialty-crafted cocktails from Brown-Forman. The lineup includes bourbon barbecue baby back ribs with compressed pear slaw and sweet goat cheese dressing, wood grilled squab breast with squab leg confit, maple and chipotle cured buffalo rib eye, and Jack Daniels pecan tart with whiskey brown sugar foam and bourbon sassafras ice cream. Dinner starts at 7:30 p.m. and costs $65 per person (excluding tax and gratuity).
Wednesday
A Bordeaux Dinner at Devon
If you're a full-bodied wine kind of person, you'll want to head to Devon Seafood & Steak tonight for a Bordeaux and BBQ bonanza. Four wines from the French region of Bordeaux will be paired with small bites for $55. On the menu: smoked salmon and cold smoked snapper tartare, fire-roasted red pepper soup, smoked duck ragu and thyme gnocchi, and smoked sea salt and white chocolate cheesecake. The event starts at 7 p.m. You might want to have a designated driver, or the Uber app.
Thursday
Throwback Thursday's Sriracha House
The little spicy joint that could on Washington Avenue is giving you more bang for your buck on Thursdays. For just $1, you can get any Chang beer... or a tower of beer (think mini keg for your table) for $14. Sriracha House features Asian-inspired street food that's somewhat healthful (depending on what you get). It's the perfect pre or post party spot, since it is open till 4 a.m.
