Are you prepared for next week's South Beach Wine & Food Festival?

Comfy shoes that can endure walking on sand? Check! Fully charged phone so you can Instagram that picture of you and Anthony Bourdain? Check! Tickets to all those yummy sold-out events? Um, not checked.

If you think you've missed the SOBEWFF boat yet again (damn, that monthly rent payment), don't worry. You can still chow down on fancy food and sip cocktails from a star chef, and the price of admission is free!

On Friday, February 21, from 12:30 to 2 a.m.,Pubbelly will throw open its doors for a special late-night celebration in honor of the festival. That means that after all your Thursday-night partying, you can stop in for a porky nightcap courtesy of the Pubbelly boys and Smithfield Ham.

This late-night romp will showcase chef Jose Mendin's talents as he presents some delicious pork-inspired bites, paired with cocktails. And it's all free. Menu items include a pork belly medianoche, ham croquetas with mint aioli, and bacon-wrapped dates with chorizo, spicy tomato, and goat cheese. And because dessert is mandatory, even especially after midnight, the Pubbelly boys will serve candied bacon and brownie mini ice-cream sundaes.

The event is open to the public, but you have to RSVP to get on the list. If you want some free nibbles and drinks, send an email to [email protected] by Tuesday, February 18. Event space is limited, and RSVPs are accepted on a first come, first served basis until they reach maximum capacity, so hurry!
