Psystar's "Attack of the Clones" seems to have hit a major roadblock. The Miami-based computer makers caused a stir when they started selling their own desktops packaged with Apple's OSX operating system. Apple only allows the system to be installed on its on hardware, and quickly filed suit. Psystar returned fire with an anti-trust lawsuit, but a federal judge has tossed the countersuit out of court. Psystar has until December 8th to amend its suit backing up their claims.
If Psystar was successful, it would shake up Apple's business mode, as well as provide an alternative for users and other computer manufacturers like Dell looking for a mainstream alternative to Window's troubled Vista OS, without paying premium prices for Apple's hardware.
