You obviously haven't been in Florida long if you haven't had a drunk man threaten to contract hit men from his home country to kill you. It's at least a pretty common occurrence here in Miami. Apparently it happens in Orlando too.

Of course, if you've just been arrested for DUI, you might want to hold off on threatening the officer's life, whether you actually have murderer friends or not.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, Yamil Arcadio Colon-Sanchez was pulled over Wednesday in Orange County.

Colon-Sanchez was taken into a DUI testing facility and apparently was upset when he threatened Officer William Becton.

"I am going to have someone from Colombia come here and kill you," Colon-Sanchez told the officer.

"Like you have the means to have me killed," Becton replied.

"Yes, I do," Colon-Sanchez shot back.

Of course, telling a police officer you'll have him killed is a prime example of exacerbating your legal problems.

Instead of merely being booked for DUI, Colon-Sanchez was also charged with resisting arrest and threatening a public servant.
