Mike Pouncey was specifically named as an accomplice to Richie Incognito's bullying blitzkrieg. He wears hats affirming his belief that accused murderer Aaron Hernandez should be freed. He's currently being sued following a physical altercation at a nightclub.

Now he's also a member of the Miami Dolphins team leadership council. And, no, he was not elected by his fellow players. Coaches took control of the council after last year's bullying scandal and selected Pouncey, who was involved in that same bullying scandal.

Head coach Joe Philbin and a group of players created the leadership council idea in 2012, and Pouncey first became a member last year. Ritchie Incognito was also a member of the 2013 council, by the way.

Though, the Miami Herald says that the team is not technically calling the group the "leadership council" this year, and coaches selected members by choosing the one or two most senior player from each position group.

"We have a different group," Philbin told the Palm Beach Post. "It's not something we are necessarily going to reveal to everybody. Different members are on it this year, but we've been communicating regularly throughout the offseason, through training camp, the preseason, and we'll continue to do so."

Of course, if you need a refresher from the Wells Report, Pouncey was found to have been a key member of the trio that systematically bullied Jonathan Martin and even some coaches. Pouncey was alleged to have frequently hurled racial and homophobic slurs at Martin, teased him about his sister being a "squirter," and physically threatened people.

Investigators also pretty much flatly thought Pouncey was lying during his interviews when he denied those claims.

And now he's a team leader! Again!
