After audio leaked of LA Clippers owners Donald Sterling's racist exchange with his mistress, LeBron James responded by saying there's no place for him the NBA. Today, NBA commissioner Adam Silver essentially agreed. He announced that Sterling has been banned indefinitely from the NBA, and pending on a vote from the rest of the owners, will likely be forced to sell his team.
LeBron, Dwyane Wade, and other Heat players took to Twitter to respond to the news.
Commissioner Silver thank you for protecting our beautiful and powerful league!! Great leader!! #BiggerThanBasketball #StriveForGreatness

Big ups to Adam Silver. I think this is a very appropriate way to handle this situation. Now it's up to the owners to make him sell.

Even Heat owner Micky Arison's chimed in:
Great job Adam. The @NBA is in good hands. You have my full support.

Meanwhile, the Heat's official Twitter account retweeted both Arison and Wade's remarks.
The Heat's homepage even changed to the same message of unity originally posted on the Clippers page.
