Miami police are searching for a butt bandit who made Calle Ocho a real pain in the ass this weekend.
Yes, America's biggest Latin block party was disturbed Sunday after a brawl broke out and a man ended up taking a bullet in the butt cheek.
According to NBC Miami, a fight involving several men erupted at the intersection of SW Eighth Street and 11th Avenue during the annual carnival that goes down in Little Havana.
During the scuffle, one of the men pulled out a gun and popped a cap in someone's ass (yes, we will burn through every butt-shooting cliché in this post, thank you very much). The victim, a man in his 20s, collapsed and realized he was bleeding form his backside. He was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to recover.
However, the gunman remains at large.
"We're asking any and all persons here out of the thousands of people that are here on Eighth Street, if someone saw something, please come forward and help our investigators with this puzzle of an investigation so we can capture the person or persons responsible for this crime," police spokesman Sgt. Freddie Cruz told NBC Miami.
Meanwhile, at the other big festival Miami-Dade hosted this weekend, the LGBT circuit party-cum-fundraiser Winter Party, several revelers also reportedly had items lodged... Uh, yeah, on second thought, sorry, we guess we're not gonna go for every easy joke.
