The good news for those of you who can still afford regular air travel: More and more airlines are staying on schedule thanks in large part to the fact that there are fewer regular flights.
The bad news: During the month of May, Miami International Airport had the highest rate of delayed takeoffs (more than 15 minutes after the scheduled departure time) for any large airport in America, according to the Department of Transportation; 29 percent of all flights took off late.
Only four other large airports (including Key West) had a higher rate of late arrivals than Miami's 28.8 percent.
