Attention, Vixens:
On day three of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim, someone up there graced Miami with less humidity and more of a beachy breeze. However, some things don't change, as the waits and lines felt as long as ever.
Vix Paula Hermanny, the Brazilian luxury resortwear brand, showed up to Fashion Week ready to make a statement. Forty minutes after its scheduled time, the lights dimmed and green leaves were projected against the wall. Chirps and rainforest-like noises flooded the tent. We were in the Amazon.

Vix Paula's collection successfully echoed the treasures of Amazonia with its bold graphic prints and lively colors. To enhance the feel, the models displayed a natural beauty with loose waves and subtle make-up, while the lack of accessories allowed you to focus on the gold detail and swimwear even more.
The rainforest told its own story on elongated pieces, oversized short dresses, and eye-catching swimsuits.
Standout Looks: A white flowy cover-up with flower-esque cut-out patterns, mid-arm bell sleeves, and a blue embroidered caftan; the look felt so mystical.
Trend Alert: Flowy caftans and maxi dresses paying homage to the rainforest's flora and fauna. It's refreshing to see the revival of airy, elegant linens.
We Could Do Without: The black pieces, simply because the lack of color is out of place among a range of vibrant colors.
The Vibe: Modern Amazonia
The Cute Factor: The models actually exhibited personality and sass (one played with her floppy hat), as a model should. We get bored of watching emotionless beauties strut down the runway, so a bit of anything makes us happy.
