British DJ-producer Carl Cox hardly needs an introduction anywhere that people get down to electronic beats, lazers and glowsticks. A child of the late-'80s acid house boom and "Second Summer of Love," Cox cut his teeth spinning for the rave generation at seminal UK hotpots like the Haçienda, Fantazia, and Amnesia House.

In the '90s, he expanded his sonic reach through radio waves as a regular on Kiss FM and Radio One's Essential Mix, introducing his big-room techno and hard-house stylings to an international audience.

Today Cox is among the world's most famous DJs, and considering he hasn't played Miami outside of Ultra Music Festival in almost eight years, his upcoming Halloween performance at Mansion is surely one of the most highly-anticipated bookings of the year. If Cox's most recent local DJ set for last year's Ultra fest is anything to go by, Mansion patrons are in for some seriously hard-hitting rave-tastic beats.
