Ultra Music Festival, much like the Universe itself, is
constantly expanding.
Over the past 14 years, what started as a one-day party on
Miami Beach has morphed into a huge corporate monster with a million heads. Rather than one day of debauchery, you get three days, plus an UMF concert documentary, plus a week of official Ultra parties.
But that's still not enough. So get ready for the first-ever Ultra Music Festival Boat Party,
because ravers can no longer be contained by land.
UMF has partnered with Pukka Up, the people behind Ibiza's Sunset Boat Parties, to bring the world's largest EDM festival to new,
watery heights. The maiden voyage will sail Wednesday, March 21, from 4 p.m. till
8 p.m., aboard the Catalina, with a pre-party at the Hard Rock Café where cruisers can pick up their
wristbands.
The lineup has yet to be announced. But knowing these party people
it will probably be well worth the $150 ticket. Plus, the ship comes
fully stocked with food and free liquor.
And of course, that's not the end of it! The organizers will be
announcing a cruise afterparty, taking place at a secret location with free admission for Ultra Boat passengers.
Ultra Boat Party with Pukka Up. Wednesday, March 21. The Catalina, boarding at 401 Biscayne Blvd., Miami. Tickets cost $150 plus fees via pukkaup.com. Visit ultramusicfestival.com.
