Sure, observing sculptures of pregnant ladies and paintings of flying pigs with angelic wings and watching the random street performances of the lynching of Jason Voorhees that go down during Second Saturday Art Walk are an experience in itself.
But the best part about Wynwood's monthly fest is the liquor-fueled parties that kick off once the artsiness and walking comes to an end.

The Secret Garden Art Walk Exhibit & Afterparty. With Freak the Disco, Gran Moxy, Negro Fino of Pelvic Thrust, Richy, Ayran, and Mareis. Saturday, October 12, 7 p.m., TSL Lounge, 167 NW 23rd St., Miami; 786-409-2241; tsllounge.com. Paintings, photography, and musical tunes -- talk about a full sensory overload at the Secret Garden. Get there early at 7 p.m. for an hour-long dose of free cocktails, go on an artistic journey through the galleries that dot NW Second Avenue, and then head back to TSL for more art, drinks, hookah, and beats by Freak the Disco, Negro Fino, and other DJs. Looks like the Secret Garden isn't so secret anymore.

And for you "hip-hop connoisseurs, appreciators of real DJs," and admirers of all things arty, you're in for a musical treat with 9th Wonder.
