There are few people in the world of music who can take credit for creating so much unadulterated pleasure as pop satirist "Weird Al" Yankovic. Speaking as someone who has to sit and come up with puns ever day in order to write headlines, songs like "Pretty Fly for a Rabbi," "I Think I'm a Clone Now," and "Another One Rides the Bus," hold special importance from a writing standpoint.

On Saturday, July 24, Al will perform at the Schmidt Family Centre for

the Arts at Mizner Park in Boca Raton. Tickets go on sale on Friday.

Of course, "Weird Al" is perhaps even more brilliant at choosing songs to parody. Throughout his career, the polka-rooted star has tackled a wide range of genres and styles in Nirvana, Michael Jackson, Dire Straits, George Harrison, Coolio, James Blunt, and of course Chamillionaire for what is now his highest-charting hit, "White & Nerdy." His most recent release is last year's Internet Leaks EP, which features style parodies based upon the Doors, Queen, the White Stripes, and his economically strapped version of T.I.'s "Whatever You Like."
