Holy nostalgia, it's 1991 all over again!
Pearl Jam's de facto captain, legendary singer-songwriter, and uke-man extraordinaire Eddie Vedder is bringing his one-man show to the Broward Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday, May 13.
Announced earlier today, the grunge rock godfather's solo tour is in support of Ukulele Songs, Vedder's 2011 Grammy-nominated solo record of original and cover music performed on a Hawaiian four-string.
What's the only thing that could make this tour any better? "Ani DiFranco playing guitar with a nose ring."

Vedder recently played a vulnerable version of himself on IFC's hipster comedy, Portlandia. In the skit, Carrie Brownstein dates a guy with a terrible Eddie Vedder tattoo. Haunted by the wack ink, Carrie decides the only way to get over the tattoo is by actually dating Eddie Vedder. All is well on the couple's picnic date until Vedder reveals his own crappy tattoo, a cartoonish portrait of Ani DeFranco.
Oh, Eddie.
