If there’s one sandwich that’ll never go out of style, it’s the quintessential American hamburger. In the words of the man Miamians love to hate, Jimmy Buffett, “I like mine with lettuce and tomato/Heinz 57 and French fried potatoes/Big kosher pickle and a cold draft beer/Well good God Almighty, which way do I steer.” Amen. If that eternally overplayed tune makes your mouth water, you’ll definitely wanna sink your teeth into Burgerliscious. This annual bash is all about the ground beef. The third year of this carnivorous affair will feature gourmet creations by the likes of the Bar, the Eating House, Morton’s the Steakhouse, Seasons 52, and Swine Southern Table & Bar, plus lots of others. All in all, there’ll be more than 20 varieties of sliders on-site. Even herbivores have something to look forward to; there’ll be veggie and fish options too. Aside from adventures in eating (and drinking), the evening kicks off Miami Live Music Month, so you’ll get to hear plenty of sweet tunes. A portion of proceeds will benefit the Coral Gables Community Foundation and its small-business support programs. Beef, beer, bands, and small biz. Be there.
