Miami Dade College kicks ass. It is one of the largest institutions of higher education in the United States, so it makes sense that it can get superstars such as Bill Clinton, Mikhail Gorbachev, Oliver Stone, Dan Rather, and David Brinkley to speak at its renowned Miami Leadership Roundtable year after year. This year, MDC snagged Hon. Madeleine Albright — the first woman ever to serve as United States Secretary of State (you’re welcome, Hillary!). Why does Miami Dade College summon such bigwigs to speak at the Roundtable? MDC’s Director of Communication, Juan C. Mendieta, says: “The Miami Leadership Roundtable at Miami Dade College is all about bringing the globe’s top leaders and thinkers to the community for an interactive, thought-provoking event… Secretary Albright continues that rich tradition and is the perfect presenter for this acclaimed series.” Put on your thinking cap and head out to Epic Hotel for a chance to listen to some wisdom from Madame Secretary.
