Its finally fall a time when leaves change color, the sun sets sooner, and the weather gets cooler. That is, unless youre in Miami. While were stuck reaping the consequences of global warming, there are a few events popping up in the Magic City that just might do the trick (or treat!). Gear up in your Halloween best, grab the little ones, and say goodbye to the postsummer blues as you head out to Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden.
Fairchilds Harvest Day will put all garden-goers in the holiday mood by bringing together ghostly tales, creepy arts and crafts, ghastly games, and more witches than you could shake a wand at. Grab some ghoulish refreshments and take in the bedeviled ambiance from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Entrance to this family-friendly event is $20 for adults, $10 for children ages 6 to 17, and free for kiddies under five.
