"This is a man's world!" declared the late, great James Brown. "This is a man's world!" he blasted again for anyone who didn't hear him the first time. And then slightly softer and with noticeably less force, "But it wouldn't be nothing, nothing - without a woman or a girl." This boastful tune tells the tale of man's contributions to society, but only in the chorus does he admit that all of the above doesn't matter if not for the creatures with the XX chromosomes. Actor/comedian/radio host/author Steve Harvey is taking Brown's philosophy to the next level with his latest tome, "Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man." He doesn't mean to dye your hair a different color each week and neglect to ask for directions on how to do it. And he doesn't mean to cook lovely five-course meals using only the big, rusty grill in the backyard. Harvey and co-writer Denene Millner explore what men think about love and sex and how women can adopt this mindset and enter into a healthy relationship. Huh? Oh, excuse us - we think like a girl. Single, married, and dating women should head to Barnes & Noble to ask Harvey what the hell he's talking about, and if he's free next Friday night.
