Even with seven albums to their name, these MTV staples leave their legacy in 1985, when it seemed Tears for Fears couldn't stop churning out pop hits. A quarter-century after the fact, "Shout," "Everybody Wants to Rule the World," and "Head Over Heels" actually hold up pretty well. Don't feel too bad if you don't recognize much after 1989's "Seeds of Love," when their commercial prospects took a nose-dive. But if you're going to relive Gimme Decade nostalgia, this is a pretty good place to do it.
