That memory and his incredible abilities as a Tantric lover were the gist of a long interview Oprah Winfrey recently dedicated to the 52-year-old father of 6 and his wife Trudy. A few weeks ago, the MusiCares Foundation declared him Person of the Year. Smacking O-town like a pasty and G-string-clad tsunami, the Suicide Girls Burlesque Show has arrived. Armed with a self-destructive moniker and a '50s pinup aesthetic, the dancers -- Siren, Snow, Violet, Tegan, Brandy, and Stormy -- promise to extend the recent renaissance of this once-forgotten art form. The girls will gyrate to an accompanying soundtrack of contemporary music featuring, among other flavors of tunage, punk rock. These chicas intend to send a message of sexual empowerment by twirling tassels on their titties. The performers hope that the transcendence of tease into art will create an alternative to the Hugh Hefnerian fembot. SG's spokesperson says their Website gets more hits from women than men. Gotta love a comedian who dares to pair a Nehru jacket (just like his idol Lenny Bruce, who sported one too) with Puma high tops. Gotta love a comedian who called his autobiographical book The OTHER Great Depression. Gotta love a comedian who singlehandedly popularized the tagline "from hell" and named his CD Live from Hell (Before and After). That funnyman is Richard Lewis (above), neurotic extraordinaire and star of the stand-up stage and the small screen, counting stints on Curb Your Enthusiasm, Seventh Heaven, 2 1/2 Men, and a title role on the long-lamented Anything but Love.
