You Better Work
It’s winter in Miami, and the even the barest hint of cold weather has brought out some sad wardrobe choices. Sightings of Ugg boots paired with crop tops and leggings are enough to sap anyone’s fashion inspiration. Thankfully, the Art of Fashion Show offers the perfect pick-me-up for design-starved locals. “The Iconic Archives,” presented by Artsy Productions USA and part of the Art of Fashion Show, is a costume exhibition that connects fashion and artistry. Curated by Luis Valenzuela, the show highlights the timeless creations of fashion houses such as Alexander McQueen, Chanel, and Christian Dior. In one installment, Valenzuela uses gowns and accessories to give viewers an inside look at the styles of several Hollywood legends, from Elizabeth Taylor and Greta Garbo to Celia Cruz and Maria Felix.
