Explaining your continued Miami Marlins fandom this season is like explaining why you keep dating that girl who’s clearly wrong for you. “But she’s got the best personality.” “She’s great in a bind.” “She’s always willing to give me a back massage.” Deep down, everyone knows she’s a mess, but focusing on a couple of things that make her special maintains a workable relationship. But the nachos are delicious, and ticket prices are extremely reasonable — even for the first game of a home series against division rivals the Philadelphia Phillies, whom the Fish face Monday at 7:10 p.m. at Marlins Park (501 Marlins Way, Miami).
