The New Mile-High Club
Remember the time you were listening to R. Kellys I Believe I Can Fly, and by the time Kellz sang, I believe I can touch the sky, you were trying to leap head-first out of your first-story window? You might blame it on that hand-rolled cigarette, but we blame it on the fact that youve never experienced the Flying Trapeze School at Bayfront Park. Because if you had, you would have known you need a 30-foot ladder and a team of experts to really make you soar.
Everyone gets a chance to try the trapeze. You do basic moves, hang upside down by your knees, and try a backflip, says LJ, trapeze school director. With just one class, you can join the club and fly through the air with the greatest of ease. Scared? Go for the Try and Fly, which gets you one turn in the air for just ten bucks. Brave? Two-hour classes cost $40.
Starts: July 5. Daily, 2007
