The Kids Are Alright
Who’s that poppin’ champagne, hanging with sexy ladies, and celebrating life in paradise? Who’s making those island jams with a side of jazz melody and plenty of funky bass and topping it off with hip-hop swagger? Sounds like the Problem Kids, six talented, fun-loving locals filling the urban air with their good-time music and slow-down flow.
Now that it’s officially summer and the temperature has risen to blistering degrees, it’s the perfect time to take a night to cool off to some tropical vibes, and that’s why Problem Kids will take over the carpet at Bardot (3456 N. Miami Ave., Miami) this Wednesday. Armed with two MCs, drums, keys, saxophone, bass, and guitar, they’ve got the skills to rock any rhythm. They might bust some salsa, maybe some reggae, perhaps a slow-dance ballad or two. They’ll do whatever it takes to get the sexy mamis moving, and isn’t that what Miami is all about?
