Superstition Aint the Way
Many believe that if a black cat is near, its time to walk the other way, and fast. If not, be prepared to step into a manure-filled puddle, lose your winning lottery ticket, and spill red wine on your couture shirt. Unfortunately for our dark-haired fuzzy friends, this superstition places them in the adoption challenged category. According to Fairy Tails Adoptions in Miami, around 50 black dogs and cats are euthanized each week. Get over it this Valentines Day weekend at the Fairy Tails Back In Black Adoption Fair at PETCO. Come meet Cheyenne, the classy female cattle dog and trained canine therapist, who also happens to be blind; Jay-Jay, the petite, playful, shepherd dog mix; and their friend Elvis, the adult tuxedo cat who exudes as much coolness as his namesake. Theyre all rescued refugees from New Orleans.
