Whoever says Miami lacks culture — we’re talking creative culture, not Latin — has never scored a ticket to a RAW Artists event. And this Thursday’s gathering of the city’s creatives aims to prove the haters wrong once again. From 8 to 11:30 p.m., more than 40 artists will take over the space at LMNT (59 NW 36th St., Miami) to showcase their myriad talents, from dancing to art to film to music. You’ll get to view a screening from the 48 Hour Film Project, an initiative where filmmakers and their crews have only two days to put together a film. There will also be a full-on performance by Eternal Dusk, an artist who splashes color onto canvas and actual humans. Raffles, a cash bar, and small bites are all part of the package as well, so for the nominal fee of $20 (or $15 if you purchase a ticket ahead of time from a RAW artist), you’ll have all the culture you’ll need for a Thursday night without having to push through a swarm of folks à la Second Saturday.
