South Florida has become boxings new U.S. hot spot outside Las Vegas, thanks to Hard Rock Live. It was there this past March when Cedric Boswell defeated former heavyweight champ Oliver McCall by unanimous decision after ten rounds. This Saturday, Boswell will return for his next step toward a world title when the Heavyweight Factory presents Hollywood Fight Night, an all-night slugfest featuring plenty of local boys worth cheering for.
Dieuly Aristilde, the Haitian-American heavyweight fighting out of Boynton Beach, will go six rounds, while Erik the Viking Leander of Palm Beach will pound out four. Cuban-born Yasmany Consuegra will defend his budding 4-0 perfect start, as will former Chicago Golden Gloves champ Tracy Rollins. Then get ready for a female super flyweight match between Sheri Denise Jacobs and Marisol Miranda, trained by Dania Beachs Bonnie Canino. And to top it all off, everything will culminate with two main events. In the heavyweight division, Boswell will take on Trinidads Kertson Manswell, and in middleweight, Domonique Dolton of Detroit will fight for his first regional belt against Lithuanias Donates Bondorevas.
