Yep, Florida Supercon is returning to the Miami Airport Convention Center (711 NW 72nd Ave., Miami).The annual event brings more than 50,000 square feet of geeky bliss to Miami, with hundreds of exhibitors, events, and appearances by three-dimensional people from the worlds of comic books, animation, videogames, science fiction, and other things people get teased for even though they are totally fun and you should just get over yourself, jocks. This year, you’ll have the opportunity to rub elbows (known as “sixth base” in nerd circles because they don’t understand sports or sex) with Star Trek’s George Takei, the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, the cast of The Walking Dead, the actual Kevin Smith, professional wrestler Sgt. Slaughter, Supergirl creator Al Plastino, and a whole bunch of other people. Advance tickets cost $25 per day or $70 for a four-day pass.
