Lobster lovers and foodies alike will able to expand their knowledge of this clawed crustacean as part of a Macy’s Star Chefs event at Dadeland Mall. Located in the Macy’s Home Store at its topnotch Cellar Kitchen, the event will feature chef Mary Rohan-Dominguez, a new addition to The Palm Restaurant in Coral Gables. Rohan-Dominguez will be sating the palate with some varied preparations of the delectable shellfish, including a recipe for chilled citrus-infused lobster. The event is a perfect opportunity for members of the community to get up close and personal with the chef while learning and tasting in the process. “I really enjoy teaching and love cooking,” says Rohan-Dominguez. “This event allows me to combine my two passions all the while getting to personally interact with my community.” Things will be heating up beginning at 1:00 p.m. today.
