Feeling nostalgic for the ’80s? It’s easy to understand why. From synthesized beats on the radio to neon colors and leggings on the world’s hipsters, much of today’s culture has its roots in the Reagan era.
But if you’re the kind of ’80s freak still into crimping hair and saying “Gag me with a spoon,” those little tastes of your favorite decade are mere appetizers. The main course comes just once a year, when the Vagabond (30 NE 14th St., Miami) hosts its annual ’80s Prom. Girls (and boys) who just wanna have fun can don their favorite retro attire and dance to hair metal, mall pop, and everything in between.
