Depending on where you grew up, the phrase bowling night might have all kinds of icky connotations. Now you can put those horrific memories behind you, because it's time for the annual Lady Luck Bowlathon this Wednesday. This no-holds-barred bowling night at Lucky Strike will kick off Aqua Girl, the five-day party for women and the women who love them. You can watch other women get their bowl on, or don a pair of those delightfully tacky shoes and two games with your Sapphic sisters. It's good old-fashioned fun. Well, somewhat old-fashioned. There probably weren't a lot of lesbian bowling parties back in the day. And don't worry if you're not familiar with the terms balsa, Dutch 200, or grandma's teeth. There should be plenty of cute butches on hand willing to help you with your bowling vernacular. Heck, you might even find a wrist master hanging from some bedposts. At least we think those are bowling terms.
