Hello, 2003. We Missed You.
You remember the space shuttle Columbia exploding upon reentry; 80s hair metal band Great White starting a fire that killed 100 people in a Rhode Island nightclub; Operation Iraqi Freedom beginning, and then ending one month later when a certain President pronounced, Mission Accomplished. And the list goes on: Martha Stewart indicted for insider trading. Arnold Schwarzenegger elected the governor of California. The Florida Marlins won the World Series. And Charles Bronson died. (The last one still stings.) Surely, you miss 2003, but this Saturday you can relive it in all its glory when Sean Paul and Shaggy perform at the Hard Rock Live.
Pop your collars and your wallets to the tune of 25, 45 or 63 bucks to relive all the Jamaican dancehall that got you through the tearing down of Sadaams statue. Place your Nokia phone in your cargo pants or the deep pockets of your velour sweatsuit, clasp on your monogrammed necklace, and put on your trucker hat. 2003 wants you back and wants you getting busy.
