A cook-off between Hell's Kitchen alums and 1500 Degrees chefs Paula DaSilva and Ben Walanka, plus another culinary death match pitting chefs from Whole Foods against those of Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Academy, are just two of the events scheduled for the third annual Heart of a Chef bash set for the Miami Science Museum from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday, April 10. There will also be free food samplings and demos, winetasting seminars, a presentation by the Slow Food movement, and other activities, all with an emphasis on preventing childhood obesity.
