Give a Hoot
She gives you air to breathe, trees to climb, and grass to smoke er, mow and today is the day to thank her for all she does for you. Yes, we are talking about your mother Mother Earth, that is. Show your planet how much you care by doing something green today. Make an extra effort to recycle, ride a bike instead of driving, and pick up your trash. And then take the whole family to the Earth Day Celebration at Crandon Park. You can create beautiful art from recycled materials, take a nature tram tour, or relax on the beach with good food and tunes. Admission is free, but there is a five dollar parking fee. Call 305-479-0972, or visit www.biscaynenaturecenter.org.
