Get to the Chopper
Calling all motorheads! Miami’s oldest bar is about to showcase some old hot rods, and if you’re a vintage collector, appreciator, or just plain vintage yourself, this fest will be fun on a few levels. It’s an old-school vibe at the Old Soul Young Blood 2014 Vintage Motorcycle Festival, displaying Florida’s greatest collections of classic jock-rockets in all shapes, styles, and sizes.
Tobacco Road (626 S. Miami Ave., Miami) is playing host, which means there will be tons of old-fashioned rock music to enjoy. There’ll be a stage for the five or more bands participating, as well as a vintage pinup beauty contest, because babes and motorcycles go together like rebels and leather.
Kick it like it’s 1955 and leave your wallet at home. This event is free and open to the public. If you want to show off your ill ride, simply pay a $5 registration fee. The fest begins Saturday at 2 p.m. and runs until 9. Call 305-374-1198 or visit tobacco-road.com.
Sat., April 12, 2 p.m., 2014
