Who’s ready for some in-your-face rock ’n’ roll action? Sleep tight and get rested, because the Master Blaster Music Festival at Churchill’s Pub (5501 NE Second Ave., Miami) is packing 20 kick-ass local bands onto three locally sponsored stages. Mark your calendar for Friday and get ready to party until the wee hours, ’cause this classy show is running till 3 a.m.
Heading up the function is DJ Oski, a longtime local event promoter. He has invited all of his favorite bands, plus basically everyone he’s worked with since the turn of the year. This is a great way to meet up with friends new and old and groove to the most bangin’ tunes the 305 has to offer. Plus, there’ll be plenty of free barbecue slung in the back to keep your dancing feet fueled the whole night.
Be a part of the action when Curve Line Films interviews fans for an upcoming documentary about the Miami music scene. The event is open to party people ages 18 and older, doors open at 8 p.m., and tickets cost $10.
Fri., Sept. 27, 9 p.m., 2013
