The silver lining around the Pig-Pen-like cloud of humidity that descends over Miami is that Miami Spice the citywide festival that offers gourmet food at incredible discounts is back. So even if you have to change your shirt after walking from the car to the restaurant, at least you know you're going to be eating great without sweating the price.
The deals officially began Saturday, August 1, but the best ones are usually on weeknights. That's why we suggest making it a Monday night to remember. All participating restaurants offer three-course meals at lunch and dinner for $22 and $35, respectively. There are too many to mention them all 77 the last time we counted but some highlights include Hakkasan, the Restaurant at the Setai, Gotham Steak, Bond St. Lounge, Acqua, and Meat Market.
For parties of four or more, be sure to contact the restaurant directly. For a full list of eateries, including links to their menus, visit ilovemiamispice.com.
