Family in Dysfunction
All families have drama. Some, like the McGrath sisters from Hazlehurst, Mississippi, might have more than others. Their mother hung herself, and her cat. One of them took aim at a husband to hide a secret, and the other, shes got a great life and wonderful careerunfortunately its all in her head.
The best thing about Beth Henleys Pulitzer Prize-winning play, Crimes of the Heart, is not the crazy stories that the McGrath sisters go throughthough they are pretty kookyits that watching them unfold is actually heartwarming.
