’Tis the season for elfish antics and all things magical. So what better way to get into the holiday spirit than with some gnome-inspired good times? The famous Belgian brewery Brasserie d’Achouffe is making an appearance at the Stage (170 NE 38th St., Miami) for a gnomadic, booze-infused fete dubbed Chouffe Fest, where you can introduce your inner Hobbit (they were kinda like gnomes) and meet some friendly folks from the Ardennes.
It’s like elfing yourself, but better — you’ll have the chance to gnome yourself with a seat in the giant chair; get gnome-a-fied by an artist; play oversize games such as extra-large checkers, Jenga, and beer pong; make some supercute postcards using a letter press; and, of course, drink lots of beer. Their brews include La Chouffe Belgian Blonde Ale, Mc Chouffe Belgian Dark Ale, and Houblon Chouffe Belgian IPA Triple. And once hunger strikes, you can purchase eats from the Latin Burger & Taco food truck. Isn’t it about time you skipped the Bud Light and went with gnome-made brews instead?
