Dont Write About My Wedding
If you prefer watching soap operas to actually living one, you could just as easily get lost inside of one of author Gigi Levangie Grazers tomes. When she wrote about a scorned wife who had been traded for a pretty young thing, cable network USA adapted it into a miniseries called the Starter Wife. And this summer, the 24-hour chick-flick channel, Lifetime, will take her second novel, Maneater, and give it to viewers in four segments of hilarious, edgy fun. The latest tale from Grazer is Queen Takes King, a story about the divorce and ensuing drama of a loaded, high-profile couple struggling through the trials of love and hate in New York after their 25-year marriage begins to disintegrate. You might not be able to relate to a couple whose love life is played out in tabloids gossip pages, but Grazer sure makes it fun to fantasize. Shell be at the W South Beach (2201 Collins Ave., Miami Beach) this Friday to mix and mingle with VIPs. And this Thursday at 7 p.m. at Books & Books (927 Lincoln Rd., Miami Beach), shell sign copies of Queen Takes King.
